The national Babysitter's Training certification course prepares youth ages 11-15 to safely and responsibly care for themselves and/or other children in the absence of parents or guardians. Youth will learn important skills in four core areas: leadership and professionalism, safety and safe play, basic care for infants and children, and first aid. Course fee includes a Babysitter's Handbook.
Details for parents and guardians: Students should bring a bag lunch to class for a lunch break. Students must arrive on time and must be picked up promptly after class.
PREREQUISITE: Students must be age 11 by the day of class. (There are no exceptions to this policy.)
