Currently authorized American Red Cross Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED
Instructors can learn to teach the Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
Course. Program reflects the most up-to-date science available and is based on 2005
First Aid Guidelines and Consensus on Science and Treatment Recommendations
(CoSTR) for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care(ECC).
Course includes pre-course testing of CPR and AED skills and knowledge, and written
tests. Prerequisite: Currently authorized American Red Cross Lay Responder First Aid
and CPR/AED Instructor.
Class Length: 8 hours
