This culturally specific course is a multifaceted training experience combining
HIV/AIDS education and facilitation skills for building HIV prevention with an exploration
of attitudes, values and beliefs. It prepares individuals to share information and teach
the skills needed to reduce the risk of HIV infection within the African American
community. Prerequisite: Starter Facts: Introduction to HIV/AIDS. Participants must be
at least 17 years old.
