Some of our courses allow you to take the "knowledge" portion of class on-line and
then attend a class in person to take your skills session. This helps you save time and
fits our lifesaving classes into your lifestyle and schedule like never before.

Online Learning requires you have computer access with the following system
characteristics:
  • A minimum 56k modem is required. Our recommendation is High Speed Internet
    access DSL or cable Internet access.
  • Download times will improve without the audio option.
  • Monitor size of minimum 14" is recommended and speakers are required if you
    choose the audio option.
  • Windows 2000, XP, or Vista operating system (Macintosh and Unix are not
    supported); Using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher OR Netscape 4.76 or higher
    (AOL browser is not supported); Flash 5.0 or higher is needed to run the online

  • You will also need to download the JAVA virtual machine from Microsoft.

Both the online knowledge and in-person skills portions are required for certification.
The online portion must be completed before you take the skills session in person.
