Learn all the skills of Standard First Aid with CPR–Adult, plus how to use an automated
external defibrillator (AED), a safe and easy-to-use device to help restart a heart that
has stopped beating. This course focuses on training the lay rescuer in the workplace
and combines first aid with OSHA-compliant adult CPR training and instruction in AED,
the two skills needed to save the life of an adult victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Giving
rescue breaths, CPR, Automated external defibrillation, First aid for choking, Using a
breathing barrier and gloves, Bleeding control, Splinting, Caring for head, neck and
back injuries, Recognizing signals of a heart attack, Caring for sudden illness
