The HeartStart OnSite AED is perfect for both home and office. In fact, it is the first AED
to be FDA approved for use without a prescription! Its compact and lightweight
design makes it easy to handle and transport during an emergency. The device is
activated by pulling the green handle. This activates the calm, slow voice prompts and
turns on the device. This device also reminds you to call EMS and has an information
button that will coach you through CPR if you are not sure how to proceed.
The device also features SMART Biphasic waveform technology which automatically
increases the output of the devise depending on the victim's body and the effectiveness
of previous shocks.
The HeartStart OnSite AED also internally logs the number of shocks given to the victim
as well as the time spent monitoring the heart. This information can also be easily
retrieved by the EMS personnel after the event.
This device comes complete with a instructions for use, a battery, Adult SMART Pads, and
a reference card. Pediatric pads are also available for this model for use on victims under
age 8 or under 55 pounds.
Additional batteries, pads, cases and cabinets are also available.
