The device also features SMART Biphasic waveform technology which
automatically increases the output of the devise depending on the victim's body
and the effectiveness of previous shocks.
The FR2+ AED also logs the number of shocks given to the victim as well as the
time spent monitoring the heart. This information can also be easily retrieved by
the EMS personnel after the event.
This device is available with or without ECG display on the back-lit screen.
Pediatric pads are also available for treating patients under age 8 or who weigh
less than 55 pounds.
Additional batteries, pads, cases, cabinets and aviation components are also
available.
