With sudden cardiac arrest…Every minute
counts!

Over 95% of victims of cardiac arrest die before they reach a
hospital. BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY.

The Twin Cities Red Cross can help improve the odds for
you, your family and coworkers with an AED. We work with
major manufacturers to provide you with the device that will
best suit your needs. The average response time when you
dial 911 us 8-10 minutes and that can be an eternity. For
someone in cardiac arrest, every minute that defibrillation is
delayed, their chance of survival decreases by 10%.

For your home, workplace, church, club or other
organization, having an AED can keep an emergency from
becoming a tragedy.

These devices are so easy to use, that even people with
minimal training at all can operate them. They are also
covered under the Good Samaritan Law in Minnesota.
